OPLAN BALIK ESKWELA 2023

The children of today are the future of tomorrow. School is the primary and best educative   agency in society. It is a very important role in every child’s development. It is where children developed, grow and makes the best person they are.  

In preparation with the opening of classes for SY 2023-2024, Sto.Niňo Elementary School prepares for the opening of classes as DepEd scheduled activities for the whole year round. The opening of classes headed by our school principal Sir Wengil O. Baguio with the SNES teachers. The school prepared a Recorida last August 11,2023 to announce the Oplan Balik Eskwela opening of classes and Brigada Eskwela activities and to inform the community on the schedules for the said activity. The recorida route were Panuntungan, Urban, Green Pasture, San Jose, Cal 1,2 & 3 Village and Marietta Subdivision.

During the Oplan Balik Eskwela period the school are following the guidelines and safety protocols mandated by the government. There are school monitoring and evaluation conducted by our District Supervisor Sir Julie J. Yarso to checked and monitored the school readiness and provide technical assistance for the school. Stakeholders participated in the preparation of the opening of classes. Philippine Army, Philippine National Police, Barangay Functionaries and private sector companies participated the Brigada Eskwela and Oplan Balik Eskwela to prepare the school and maintain the cleanliness of the school surroundings and extend their support in the opening of classes.

The school enrollment started August 7,2023, Oplan Balik Eskwela was scheduled August 21-25,2023 spearheaded by our school principal and participated by the SNES teachers. Teachers are assigned to cater and accept enrollment per day. There are designated areas for enrollment by grade level and a monitoring of enrollment, report was gathered by the OBE coordinator and submitted every afternoon through the district OBE group chat as a channel of communication and gathering datas with the assistance of the ICT coordinator in encoding the enrollment data. The enrollment for the school year 2023-2024 was 598 males and 540 females 540 total of 1,138 pupils.

The Opening of classes held last August 29,2023. The school conducted opening program flag ceremony to welcome the students and parents and introduced the set of teachers and staff for the school year. The learners were so happy to have seen their classmates and friends back to school. The students were excited and looking forward to their new classroom, new teachers and new classmates. Most teachers kicked off the school year by introducing themselves, gave their rules and gave their pupils a chance to tell something about themselves to the rest of the class. The first day of school was a great day for the pupils to make new friends and be back to school for learning. The school opening has been a success!
